LANDSCAPE DESIGN
A Roland Salon
This is a very special plan for a salon in New Cumberland, and a collaboration with Green Gardner Designs. The owner, Amy, asked us to create a landscape full of plants that can be used inside the salon as well as being beautiful and beneficial to wildlife on the outside.
Nearly every plant is native and/or has a culinary or medicinal use. From bluebells to asters, there will be three seasons of blooms plus winter interest from seed heads and several different types of grasses including, of course, tufted hair grass.
This one is unique and will hopefully be education to all of the salon's clients who will visit this garden and enjoy the yummy treats made from it. To be planted spring 2024.
LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Carlisle DIY
I was asked to design a new front yard plan for local master gardener. She asked me to create a plan with an abundance of texture, continuity with the rest of her landscape, and a bit more organized planting plan for the front of her home. We used as many native plants as we could.
Native Plants in a Modern Setting
These clients are not afraid to be bold and original! We designed an entirely new landscape around their home focusing on using native plants and special places for family heirloom plants. We expanded their water feature and included floating steps that continue through the garden. They are even planting a urban meadow on the empty corner of the property!
